![]() So as it stands, the lack of available ACT® practice tests makes it more difficult for tutors-the ACT's® unpaid evangelist workforce-to do their job of guiding students to take the ACT®. And the Kaplan course does nothing to help independent tutors and tutoring companies meet the needs of students who choose to prepare for the ACT®. That may be true, but independent tutors all over the United States will ultimately advise hundreds of thousands of students on whether to take the SAT® or the ACT®. Why does this disparity constitute a self-inflicted injury? Speaking of commending the College Board, it's worth taking a moment to praise it for not shooting itself in the foot. Credit to College Board for significant improvement on that front. That's a much speedier turnaround than the May 2016 SAT® QAS, which showed up a few days after I took the October 2016 SAT®. I received my Question-and-Answer Service (QAS) copy a few weeks ago. The rumors are true: SAT® Practice Test #7 has been released.
